VERTICAL AI AUTOMATION

AI WORKFLOW PILOT — CASE STUDY IN PROGRESS

New Projects

Many teams still run important work through email, files, spreadsheets, forms, chat, and several business systems. People collect information, check whether anything is missing, move work between teams, compare details, and decide what should happen next.

That creates a strong opportunity for AI, but automating a broken workflow only makes the problem move faster.

JPDESIGN is developing a vertical AI workflow model that starts with one narrow business process. The goal is to understand the work first, then test where AI can safely help with intake, sorting, missing information, evidence, recommendations, and handoffs.

People stay responsible for important decisions. Let's Start a Conversation!

OUR APPROACH

The work begins with one real workflow, not with an AI feature.

1. Understand the work: Observe how people complete the task today. Identify what enters the workflow, where information comes from, who reviews it, and what decision ends the process.

2. Find the friction: Look for repeated work, missing information, handoffs, delays, and places where people have to search across systems.

3. Separate judgment from repetition: Not every task should be automated. AI may help collect, classify, compare, summarize, or suggest. People should remain responsible for decisions where risk, judgment, or accountability matters.

4. Design the human decision layer: Each important recommendation should make four things clear: What did the system find? What evidence supports it? What is uncertain? What happens if the person approves it?
5. Test before scaling: Build a focused prototype or paid pilot around one workflow. Measure whether it actually reduces work, improves clarity, and helps people make the decision faster.

Only then expand automation.

How pilot works

1. ONE WORKFLOW.
We pick a single process that costs your team real time and carries real risk. Not a demo. Something your people do every week.

2. FOUR TO SIX WEEKS.
We map the decision, build the working system, and run it on your own data with your own team.

3. YOU SEE IT RUN BEFORE YOU COMMIT.
At the end you have a working system, a clear measure of what changed, and a decision to make about going wider. If it did not earn the next step, you will know, and so will we.
